The Journey Begins..

I am excited to start this blog.  Growing up in the USA - women have a picture of THE fairy tale from a very young age.  We view the Disney movies..we travel to Florida, and we see the "Disney Cinderella Castle." 

I have been fortunate enough to go, and view one of the inspirations of this castle...Schloss Neuschwanstein.

Since moving to Germany, I started a mission: to visit all Schlösser / Burgen in Germany, but who knew within just NRW, there are at least 1550 of these structures?  I found this out by watching a holiday special on WDR.  So...with this blog, I hope to show some pretty cool pictures that I take of my visits, provide insight, share my thoughts, opinions, experiences, and maybe guide people on their own adventures that share the same interest.

With that.....let the journey begin...
