What can really make for a nice day is grabbing your bike, and going for a bike tour. What better to combine this with Schloss visiting! Germany gives great bike routes, so it's not usually hard to plan. So check it out if you are visiting.
This small entry is over Schloss Benrath, and just a small peak at Schloss Mickeln. Schloss Mickeln - you cannot go in, but just stop and take a few pictures while you are on your way over to Schloss Benrath.
Schloss Benrath is totally worth seeing. It boasts a huge beautiful Schlosspark. You can stow your bike, and take a nice walk around. Check the website for booking tours of the inside of the Schloss! There seems to be many activities going on year-round so visiting this Schloss will definitely not disappoint.
